Hema Malini was the undisputed Dream Girl of Bollywood in the years gone by. We were curious about who to be crowned the new, reigning Dream Girl today.
We admit the idea is not original. The Indiatimes folks conducted a poll earlier. It's results left us confused. It claimed that Asin got the maximum number of votes! She got 37% against Katrina Kaif's 33%!
We found that hard to believe. Agreed that post Ghajini Asin is riding high but she beats Katrina in the popularity sweep stake? No way!
To find the real answer we conducted our own BOLLYLAND POLL on the issue. "Who is the new 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood?"
Bollylanders all over the world voted. The results confirmed what we believed. Katrina Kaif is without doubt the one who can be called the Dream Girl of today. She got a whopping 25% of the votes. Deepika Padukone came a distant second with 9% of the votes polled! And Asin? She got just 6%!
