SPOOF:Shahrukh Khan at Newark airport

Shahrukh Khan smiled and handed over his passport to the official at the counter in Newark airport.

The official saw the name "Shahrukh Khan" from India and an inaudible bell started ringing furiously in his head. For a moment, scenes of the Twin Towers crashing down flashed through his mind.

"Step inside, please." The face had darkened.

"What? What?" Shahrukh was confused.

"Your luggage has not arrived,"said the official after SRK was escorted to a nearby room, where two other burly officers were present.

"Then check with the airlines," Shahrukh said.

"Why are you visiting the US, Mr. Khan?" The official had disregarded what Shahrukh had said.

"I am doing a show to celebrate India's Independence day. 15th August, you know."

"Oh yeah?" The guy had flunked his history and general knowledge exams at school.

"I am an Indian film actor," SRK said.

"Oh yeah? India makes film, eh?"`

Meanwhile an Indian consular officer came into the room with a senior US Immigration official. SRK was free to go.

"We'll detain Brad Pitt when he comes to Mumbai,." was Shahrukh's parting shot.

"Duh. Who is Brad Pitt?" The airport official was confused.
