It is more than a year since the Salman Khan - Shahrukh Khan erupted into open hostility. But there seems to be no sign that the ill-will has decreased. Only a few days back Salman said sneeringly that Shahrukh is doing fine without him and does not miss him. Hardly brotherly love that!
Salman had added oil to the fire when Shahrukh had been detained at Newark airport a month back. Salman then had said "What's the fuss? It was a routine check at the airport" or something to that effect. Shahrukh's heart would have hardly warmed to Sallu after that!
There are two other incidents that have kept the fire simmering. One, strong rumors say that Katrina Kaif is going to act in Yaashraj film opposite SRK. This rumor is believable because Katrina is the type who puts her career first. She is hardly going to let such a golden chance slip by only because Salman had picked a fight with Shahrukh at her birthday party more than a year ago.
Secondly. Salman strongly believes that the recent media reports that Salman refused to go to the US because after what had happened to Shahrukh he was fearful that something similar would happen to him was planted by SRK's group. The latest Salman flick 'Wanted' producer Boney Kapoor had to strongly deny that Salman had refused to go to the US. Kapoor said Salman was not supposed to go at all!
